Little Bits Going On..

I am addicted to Twilight books. I started the first two when I was babysitting, back in May, full time. Now in less than a weeks time frame I have finally finished them. I can't believe how much they suck you into the book! It was like you can't put it down, which is saying something because I was staying up till like 3 or 4 in the morning and getting up around 9 to read it! It was a drug.. haha.

Kenneth and I are going to look at more sites. As much as I want an outdoor wedding, I'm starting to think that a church is looking more and more possible because of the insanely strict budget I have. It sucks! I found this place that we both love, and there is nothing I can do about it. Mom wants a place here in the Boro, and I think it would be best to have it in Nashville, because of the 65/70 guests that we have coming from outta town! Now keep in mind that we are inviting like 100 people. So that's more than half that are coming from outta town. But the good news is I think the sample initiations and save the dates should be coming in the mail soon! I'm very excited to see them.

I start my internship really soon. It is really weird that I'm finally finishing up school. If you consider it finishing. I have sent an application to Motlow, along with my high school transcript, and the application fee. I'm waiting on my grades to post for me to send ETSU current transcript there. Still think I have to run over to MTSU and have them send that transcript over also. Haha. So much I'm doing. I am actually starting to get nervous about working and doing my internship.. I haven't really worked and gone to school. Sure I have babysat, but that is very different. I can choose my hours and also work on school work when the kiddos go to sleep.

Other than that not much is going on. I think I'm going to go out and go shopping. Just to get out and clear my head.

Get excited!!

In two weeks.. I start my internship!! This means working 8 to 4:30.. and sometimes even longer teaching health to students. I get to teach sex ed and teen pregnancy and do lots of work with exercise programs. I get to stay late on Monday evenings and work till 7 doing something at various schools! I am getting so excited! Sorry she sent me the schedule for September, and I'm starting to get really happy!! :)

WE FOUND A PLACE!

I feel so happy about this. Things are finally falling into place. This place is amazing and has a place if it rains. It has lots of different cool picture spots. And it's on a golf course.. so Kenneth can get comped a game of golf! :) Our guest list is expanding fast.


This is looking down the aisle way. I AM SO EXCITED! Now I just hope my parents are as happy.

Welp. Summer school is finished. I can't believe it. I just have my one class, my internship, and then school is 'over'. I put over in quotes because I am going back to nursing school. And on top of working 40 hours with my internship, working 20 at Kroger, and planning a wedding, I am also applying to various nursing schools.

Kenneth got his schedule changed. He now works 4 days a week from 10 to 9, instead of 11 to 10. This is good because it means he will get home around 10 not 11. I didn't like that.

I have had a great past few days, working and finishing up school. Been hanging out with Kenneth at night and his roommates. Playing video games, UNO, Castle, and so many other games. One of his roommates spent 2 months in Mexico so it has been nice having him back in the states and back being his old self.

Anyway, that is a catch up of whats been going on. Off to do something.. maybe read a book. I picked up the third Twilight book. :)

I swear I'll blog about something interesting..

whenever it decides to happen. But honestly this has me frustrated right now. We went and we toured a site today. Honestly it was really nice. But the one con is there isn't a lot of room for an indoor reception. They have our date.. Oct 2nd. They have the outdoor feel. They gave me an idea on a rental company to use. But I have to rent tables, chairs, tents, etc. And that could break the budget. They have a great hidden 'atmosphere' with them, also. But they don't have an indoor space for a reception. One thing that I really want. Hmmm. I guess we shall keep looking. We still have a few more sites to look at.

We spent the week out on the lake. It was amazing. I love not being able to have cell service out there. On the other hand.. I had 25 missed emails when my phone got back to service land.

We saw GIJoe. It was a cool movie. And I'm normally not up for all that fighting and all. It was a good movie. Plus the dude is very cute :D.

I have my last med term exam this Wed. I have an A- in the class and know I'm not going to get under that. I'm just taking the exam to see if I can pull it up to an A. Even so. I took 9 hours this summer and got a B and 2 A-.. not bad.. I don't think. I start my internship in a few weeks. I'm getting so excited! I can't believe I am almost done!!

It's been a crazy week!

Welp, I get really bad at checking this. I have worked 18.75 hours this past week.. got up to 6.75 just today alone and about 23ish hours total this week. Along with that, I have taken an exam, and have been researching wedding stuff. I am so tired.. yet, I'm blogging on here at midnight.. hmmm. I honestly don't know how I am going to do it when I am working about 60 hours a week! :(

Anyway, in case anyone cares, I think we have narrowed it down to 3 sites, so we are going to visit them. I think I have my heart set on 2 of them, so we shall see how the pictures compare to the actual spot. Along with the PRICE! Once we get a site narrowed down, we can finally set our date, and I can figure out how stressed I am going to be.

I think Kenneth and I have settled on the the invitations and also the favors, so that's two things that are done. Also we have been thinking about rehearsal dinners. I was thinking some place in Nash, but with our locations, it might be stupid to go up there. So I might find something here like BMcNeals or something. My goal is to get most of the planning done by Dec or March of next year. Cuz when Aug hits, and I get into nursing school, no way!

I love it, cuz I keep getting compliments on the ring. Everyone keeps telling me how unique the ring is. I love that!! I love that I have something that is different from anything else. And yes, it still feels weird that I have it on my finger. I am going to get it re sized tomorrow; so I don't loose it on the lake this week.

Anyway, I think I should crash. Busy day tomorrow, but I get through tomorrow, and then its one more day and the lake.. for 3 days!! Then visiting a site!! :) I love this.. today! :D
