5 weeks..

to get everything done.
till fall break hits!
till we get to spend an entire week at Disney World and get paid for it!! Yay, for vacation!
till the student teacher leaves in the classroom. :(
till I'm very happy and calling my best friend my husband :)

Exhaustion!

I wake up every morning at 5:20 am. Not that its a bad thing, its just something my body isn't used to yet. I get to work around 7 am. Get my lunch somewhere between 11 and 12:30. And head home around 2:30. On Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday there is a chance I work at Kroger starting at 4:30. Then that normally doesn't end till 9 or so. So I am going from 5:20am to around 10:15pm, normally nonstop! Kenneth has Wednesday and Saturdays off, so that time is spent with him. And he doesn't get off till 9 pm nowadays anyway.

I'm liking the schedule, I'm just so tired. I think things will be better when I'm 10 minutes away from my school, compared to the 35 or 40, I am now. Cuz that will be extra sleep time. 6 more weeks till wedding day.

I will make sure that I post pictures of new stuff I picked up for the bathroom. They match so well!! :)

Oh my!

where has the time gone! It is past the middle of August. Kenneth and I have about 6 more weeks till we get married and still so much to do! But the good news is we can start getting in a schedule. Lots of wedding related stuff is going to start happening on Wednesday nights and Saturdays, since he has both those days off work. We start marriage counciling next Wednesday. We still have rehearsal dinner stuff to straighten out, programs to make, and groomsmen outfits to buy! We have to finalize the dinner plans, buy candy for the buffet, and figure out how the tables will be laid out. We still have to call in a cake order ;). Oh and finish booking the rest of the honeymoon!

As for my job, the first day went good. Lots of orientation stuff. And I have a feeling I'm going to be very bruised and sore by the end of the week. But its the group I'm working with. The school is amazing and I'm glad to be part of such a friendly school environment. Also it's really nice going in at 7 am and getting off at 230! Not bad.. now if only I would want to leave Kroger, then I would have way to much free time on my hands.

Christi has moved to Chattanooga, so everything in her room is gone! Bed and all. Mom and dad moved it all in yesterday, so hopefully she can get the things worked out that she is having problems with and have a stress free semester.

Other than that, nothing much new, just trying to get by :) Off to see what my parents need and then back here to make Kenneth dinner and do some grocery shopping :)

It all happened so fast...

Well on Tuesday of this last week my mom received a text message from a friend of her's. They were looking for an EA (educational assistant) for a special needs classroom and was wondering if my mom knew of anyone. My mom replied back that she has a daughter, me, and that I might be interested in it. She called me and I was like sure! I've been looking on and off for an EA position, but haven't had much luck. So I got my resume in line and my cover letter and sent that over to them on Wednesday. I also worked an 8 hour on that Wednesday at Kroger, so I was unable to call them, so it had to wait till Thursday.

I called them on Thursday morning. I left a message and the principal called me back not 10 minutes later. Next thing I know I'm being scheduled for an interview at 1 that afternoon. If I promised to get my references in line and the application filled out on-line. So I went in for the interview and was hired on the spot. I start there on Monday. I'm anxious to see what all it entails and what all I will be doing. And the great news is its about 10 minutes from our new place... if only I can figure my way around Blackman traffic..

I am going to keep working at Kroger, but only work there on 1 or 2 nights a week and Sunday mornings for file maintenance. This will give us more spending cash for say Kenneth's surgery bills that we aren't expecting or for extra payments on the replacement ring I'm getting :) Also it will help with saving up for a down payment on a house or the back to school bills we will be getting soon.

So yay! I'm excited, nervous, and very happy.
