...So we really aren't eloping.. as much as i want to sometimes! I am excited! We finally got everything straightened out with engagement pictures, which will be happening on the 11 of this month. On Friday, it will officially be a year till we walk down the aisle and we say 'I Do' to the one we want to spend forever with. To celebrate he is taking me on a picnic and then who knows.. maybe to see a new movie that is a chick-flick that is out :) We shall see.

The 1st is in a few short days, which means that this month is over, and one of the craziest is about to happen. But it will probably be the one in which I get the most accomplished as far as school goes. I have over half my hours that I need for my internship, and I will probably stay there through Dec 4. Even though I am finishing all my hours around the middle of November. I think it is good that I stay on and help a little. Especially in the current situation. She told me something today. Most of the time she has MTSU students, but she told me that its nice having me, because when she tells me to do something I do it, and get it done. I am not constantly asking her how to do something or taking time from her day. That made me happy.

I got a lot of things accomplished today. I have the template for the PowerPoint done for the baby fair. It looks pretty awesome if I say so myself. I also got a lesson plan typed up, which I will be using on Thursday. And then there were a few other things that I got accomplished. Including a progress report which is due tomorrow that has to be submitted tonight, because I won't have any time tomorrow to complete and send it in. Tomorrow I get to wear work out pants and do an exercise class, so that should be interesting.

Anyway, just a quick update before this week goes crazy! Internship from 8 to 4:30 then work from 5:30 to 11. Wed is internship from 8 to 4:30 and then nursery from 6 to 7:45. Thursday is internship from 7:30 to 4:00 and then work from 5:30 to 11. Friday is setting up for baby shower from 8 to 2:30ish. Saturday is the baby fair from 8 to 3:30. Anyone wanna trade lives? :)

Routines

I am so tired. Life has seem to fly by. I don't even know where September has gone. And I can't believe that October is knocking at the door. I am 3 weeks into my internship had have 112 hours thus far. I have to get to 400, which I am honestly not worried about. I am taking 2 days off for fall break in about 3 weeks, then a week and half later I am taking 3 days off and going to Disney World with Kenneth and his roommates. It shall be a fun time. Kenneth wants to see the Halloween Parade, so I figured I could come along.

Along with that, I have the Baby Fair at work. This is going to take an entire Friday to set up, and then that Saturday to work it. Needless to say, our date night that night will probably be cut short. Which is sad since it is the same day that marks us at 1 year till the wedding. I wanted to do something special that night. We then have Kenneths birthday, another fair/event with my internship, then fall break, and hopefully dress shopping and visiting the girls. We shall see if that works out. Hopefully that following weekend we can finally have our engagement pictures done. So I can send out Save the Dates! Then Disney World and Halloween. And October is done! Haha. I thought my life would slow down when I came back home. November is going to be crazy too, but I won't be requesting off so much at my other job, which will be good. And the good news is that I have lots of vacation time that I have accumulated, so I can go to Disney and still get paid for working!! :)

I went to a bridal fair on Sunday. I think I figured out that I am having my dress custom made.. I think. She includes all the alterations, and can make it how I want it. So I am excited to see what she can do. And I figure its only an extra 100 more than buying a dress off the rack.. so why not.
Also, I am set on Julia's Bakery for the cake! No doubt in my mind. It is reasonably priced and they have great cakes.
Other than that I think I am done planning stuff till about Jan.
Flowers I can figure out later.
But I am still trying to decide if we need a videographer.. what is your option?

Life believe it or not is in a routine, which I like. I do like the 8 to 5. Not such as fan of the 5:30 to 10 after my 8 to 5, but I have to make some money. And I did Drug GM the other day, and I honestly liked that. I was stocking things, and wasn't bothered by the customers, which was a nice change of pace. Working in Cust Service, I always have to please the customer, and put on my best smile, even if they are out of line. Stocking, I am able to relax, which is good after a long shift. I know I keep saying the same thing over, but its all good. I'm outta here. Gotta research a few more topics, then heading over to Kenneths.

I can't believe we are ALMOST at a year..

it seriously seems like just yesterday we were going out and celebrating our one year.
I have the site booked. Most of the address' for Save the Dates. I have the cater. And I have an idea in mind for flowers, cake, dress, invitation. So it is a good thing there are two bridal shows coming up next week! :) I shall be in like bride heaven.

I am loving my internship! I am actually teaching a class or two tomorrow, so wish me luck. A much better update something this weekend. I had just talked to my sister and the first thing she answered my phone call with was can you believe its almost a year away! And that got me to realizing that it really is! EEK Oh! And I should be going to school on TTh 12ish to about 3ish for Anat and Phys 1. Bring on nursing school!

So I never make these types of posts..

But I bought so many cute clothes and many of them on sale, that I couldn't pass this up!

Here is a picture of most of the clothes. I bought 3 pairs of shoes, 2 of them are shown, 2 sweaters (one brown and one black), 8 shirts (most are shown), a swim suit cover up, a swim suit (making my swimsuit total up to like 10 :)), and then a pair of black stripped pants! All of this cost me around $200! I don't think that its that bad, since most of these items were marked down about 70 percent off, or I had to pay full price (stuff from Forever 21 is NEVER marked down :()

This is a great shirt! Since we have officially booked the wedding site!! :-D, and I saw this shirt I couldn't help but think this would be a perfect engagement shirt. Since it is in my colors! I couldn't pass it up. And it was about 20 (Forever 21).

I know that summer is mostly over. But I saw this swimsuit some time ago and I had to have it. I then realized I needed a new cover up. So this is another purchase. All in all this outfit cost about $25.

I am beginning to think this aqua blue and brown are my new favorite colors. But this is an example of an outfit that I would be wearing on a normal basis with my internship! Which I love!

I found out that starting about the middle of October I will be going into the schools by myself and doing the teaching. Which scares me a little, but I'm ready to take on that challenge. I am also working on getting my application out on the web so I can start looking for jobs, before I graduate. I'm really liking this major, and am honestly rethinking about going to nursing school. I mean I wanna be able to help people, but I'm what I'm more considering is getting my masters in health education, where I can be a teacher in the schools for health classes! I think that would be fun! I would love being able to teach children about anatomy, sex, and how their decision just don't affect them now, but they could haunt them the rest of their life. Maybe I will just get my CNA and work that on evenings or something.

Anyway, I think that pretty much sums up what has been happening. I have about 40 hours thus far for my internship, with about 360 more hours to go. I'm excited about everything coming up! Have a great Labor Day!

The only free time I have is at like midnight!

I have started my internship. I was dreading it the first day, loving it the second, and dreading it again today. It sorta just hit me that I was graduating and that this was the end of college as I know it. Sure I am going back to school for nursing, but that is going to be really hard. Anyway, my internship has been good. I have racked up 25 hours thus far this week! And still have 7.5 tomorrow and then an early day on Friday. Which is good because we are going to book the site for our wedding!! :)

I really am loving my internship. I'm working on doing a bulletin board for child health week which happens October 5 - 11. So has been fun. I am also going to start teaching a few classes soon on making smart decisions (this is how you teach sex ed, since you can't just tell them, cuz parents get ubber mad!) So yea, just wanted to give an update. Looking forward to a baby fair that we are doing, and also when I get to start teaching some of the classes!

There is no doubt, that I love this major!! :) Which is good, because I just picked up the undergrad catalog and put my hand on this major, and that's what I stuck with :).

Little Bits Going On..

I am addicted to Twilight books. I started the first two when I was babysitting, back in May, full time. Now in less than a weeks time frame I have finally finished them. I can't believe how much they suck you into the book! It was like you can't put it down, which is saying something because I was staying up till like 3 or 4 in the morning and getting up around 9 to read it! It was a drug.. haha.

Kenneth and I are going to look at more sites. As much as I want an outdoor wedding, I'm starting to think that a church is looking more and more possible because of the insanely strict budget I have. It sucks! I found this place that we both love, and there is nothing I can do about it. Mom wants a place here in the Boro, and I think it would be best to have it in Nashville, because of the 65/70 guests that we have coming from outta town! Now keep in mind that we are inviting like 100 people. So that's more than half that are coming from outta town. But the good news is I think the sample initiations and save the dates should be coming in the mail soon! I'm very excited to see them.

I start my internship really soon. It is really weird that I'm finally finishing up school. If you consider it finishing. I have sent an application to Motlow, along with my high school transcript, and the application fee. I'm waiting on my grades to post for me to send ETSU current transcript there. Still think I have to run over to MTSU and have them send that transcript over also. Haha. So much I'm doing. I am actually starting to get nervous about working and doing my internship.. I haven't really worked and gone to school. Sure I have babysat, but that is very different. I can choose my hours and also work on school work when the kiddos go to sleep.

Other than that not much is going on. I think I'm going to go out and go shopping. Just to get out and clear my head.
